BEHIND THE LENS

Since 1996, Wayne Wilson has been making images. He started at Knox College with traditional black and white film photography and super 8mm film.

In 2005 Wayne moved to New York City and became an apprentice to the famed photographer/artist Shinichi Maruyama and became his studio manager for several years.

In 2011 Wayne moved to Westchester and began shooting professionally on his own. The rigors of a still life photography and conceptual background add a unique and more detailed approach to all his subjects, be they food, people, or babies.
